Pickleball Europa League

The Pickleball Europa League is an exciting new team competition bringing together top pickleball teams from across Europe. This two-day event will be held in Frydek-Mistek, Czechia, and offers a unique team-based format inspired by Major League Pickleball (MLP). With high-level competition, a structured format, and attractive prize money, this tournament is set to be a milestone in European pickleball.

Facilities & Logistics

The tournament will take place on 6 dedicated pickleball courts.
Matches will be played over 2 days, ensuring all teams have ample playing time.
The venue will provide changing rooms, seating for spectators, and food and beverage options.

TEAM COMPOSITION

We are recruiting 12 teams from European countries

Each team must consist of 2 women and 2 men.

The combined DUPR doubles rating of all team members cannot exceed 20.00 and must not be lower than 17.50 (on the day of registration, no later than March 31, 2025)

FINAL TOURNAMENT

The 12 highest-ranked teams (based on DUPR ratings) will compete in the final tournament in the Czech Republic on May 10-11, 2025.

FORMAT

The format mirrors the MLP (Major League Pickleball) with the Dreambreaker rule in case of a tie.
Teams will be divided into 3 groups of 4:
- The 2 teams with the best records from the group stage will advance directly to the semifinals.
- The remaining 1st place team and three 2nd place teams will play a quarterfinal to compete for two spots in the semifinals.
- Remaining teams will play for positions 6–12.

MATCH RULES

Matches consist of:
- Men's Doubles
- Women's Doubles
- Two Mixed Doubles
- If tied after 2-2, the Dreambreaker (singles tiebreak) decides the winner.
Rally Scoring: Every rally results in a point.
Each match is played to 21 points.

In the Dreambreaker, the "freeze" rule applies (when one team reaches 20, their scoring switches to traditional side-out scoring).
